FAQs

How quickly can I receive a valuation after submitting my details?

Initial valuations are typically issued within 1 to 2 days of submitting the form. Diamond Brothers' certified gemologists review each submission individually based on the photographs and specifications provided. The estimate is sent by email along with shipping instructions for the next stage of the sale process.

What details are required when requesting a valuation?

The valuation form requests photographs of the piece, carat weight, diamond colour and clarity if known, metal type, certification details (GIA, IGI or HRD if available), and contact information. Optional fields include provenance, designer markings and any original purchase documentation, all of which assist with the initial estimate.

Do I have to sell after I get a valuation from Diamond Brothers?

No. Submitting a valuation request to Diamond Brothers places no obligation on the seller. The initial estimate is followed by a final offer after physical inspection in Antwerp. If the offer is declined, the piece is returned to the seller using insured FedEx shipping at no cost, with the original item fully restored to the seller.

How does Diamond Brothers protect my personal information when I submit?

All seller data submitted through the valuation form is handled in line with European GDPR requirements. Personal details, photographs and item descriptions are stored securely and used solely for the valuation process. Diamond Brothers does not share seller information with third parties without explicit consent.

Can I submit multiple pieces of jewellery in one valuation request?

Yes. Sellers may submit multiple diamond rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets or loose diamonds in a single valuation request to Diamond Brothers. Each item is evaluated individually by certified gemologists, with a consolidated offer issued covering all pieces. Insured FedEx shipping covers the full submission as one secure consignment.

What information do I need to fill out the Diamond Brothers sell form?

Provide clear photographs of the piece from multiple angles, the approximate carat weight if known, any GIA, IGI or HRD certificate number, the metal type, and a brief description of the item. Including original receipts or appraisals helps certified gemologists issue a more precise preliminary valuation.

How long does the online valuation form take to complete?

The Diamond Brothers online sell form takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. After submission, a preliminary valuation is issued by certified gemologists within 1 business day.

Is there a minimum value for items submitted to Diamond Brothers?

Diamond Brothers does not publish a formal minimum value threshold. Individual diamonds from approximately 0.30ct, gold jewellery of any weight, and complete diamond jewellery pieces are all accepted for evaluation. The free valuation carries no obligation to sell.
